We are looking for person having conceptual way of thinking who is eager to learn new things and focused on continuous high quality service delivery. You will work closely in a micro team (5 people), which is a part of Application Maintenance organization. You will have an opportunity to work independently, come up with your own ideas, be the 2nd line of support and a key player between Business and Development team.

You will be working in an international environment where close, friendly and professional cooperation are the main values. You will play an important role in supporting Collateral Management applications. You will be independent in taking decision, maintaining Pre-Production and Production environments, arranging meetings with Development and Business teams, driving long and short term projects. You will be working with professional IT technologies like Windows Server 2016/2019, RedHat Enterprise, Oracle Database, monitoring tools (Grafana, Influx DB, Telegraf, Geneos, Splunk), UC4, Bamboo, MQ Explorer, etc.

The team you will be working with is located in Gdansk, Poland.

Responsibilities:

• 2nd line support for banking applications
• Deploy new versions of software
• Migration projects
• Transitioning and decommissioning projects
• Process automation (bash scripts, PowerShell scripts, schedulers)
• Building, developing and maintaining the monitoring systems and act upon warnings and alerts to prevent applications from failure
• Cooperate with various IT teams – Development teams, Service Desk, Infrastructure teams
• Follow ITIL framework best practices to manage tickets in BMC Helix platform
• Contribute to Knowledge Management System to prepare instructions
• Care of a good relationships with business teams and application users

Your profile and background:

• Proficient in English both writing and speaking
• A very good knowledge of Windows Server administration
• Very good Linux system administration (Red Hat)
• Having scripting knowledge will be an asset (Bash, Powershell)
• Oracle SQL knowledge (Oracle/PLSQL is an asset)
• Knowledge of ITIL framework (experience in ITIL based ticketing tools is an asset)
• Having an experience with JIRA or any other KANBAN / Agile based tools
• Having a knowledge on how to prepare a good documentation, knowledge base (Confluence)
